What we’ll cover
Rolled hem: set-up, tension adjustments, and tips for neat, professional narrow hems on lightweight fabrics.
Gathering: methods for controlled gathers and how to combine with overlocking for clean seam finishes.
3- and 4-thread overlocking: when to use each, stitch adjustments, seam and edge finishing, and troubleshooting common issues.
Corners: turning and finishing corners cleanly with overlocker stitches and when to combine with conventional sewing.
What to bring
Your overlocker and basic accessories (needles, spare thread, tweezers).
Basic sewing kit (scissors, pins, seam ripper, note-taking materials).
4 Different coloured threads.
Time and place
Time: 10:00–12:00.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to set up.
